Advisor Board 

Alena Museum  is seeking executive level advisors. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction in developing a business plan, organizational design and seek permanent space to anchor Alena Museum to fulfill our mission of providing access to space for people of the African Diaspora to create original work and share it with the community in the face of rapid displacement from gentrification.

Advisor Board skills and knowledge include but are not limited to the following:

  • Capital Campaign Strategy

  • Real Estate Investment and Development

  • Business Development

  • Finance

  • Nonprofit Management

  • Grant Development

  • Public Relations

  • Creative Marketing

  • Board Recruitment/Development

  • Architect

We are currently a 100% volunteer supported nonprofit. While we do not offer paid opportunities at this time, we do offer the opportunity to intentionally build a unique portfolio of work.
