Public Art Activism

Public art benefits the community through placemaking, bringing people together, and can be used as a tool in economic development.

Protest & movement also takes place in public space. By mobilizing Art Activism installations in the commons, we hold African Diaspora cultural presence in public space. The way Alena shows up in public space is by pushing a Black Futurist platform & lens that addresses systematic racism.

Experience Installations

We honor our mission by activating spaces with art installations and hiring artists from the collective to lead projects and work together to accomplish powerful creative solutions for clients who share our vision and strive to hold space in a rapidly changing landscape.

Community Space Access

The advancement of gentrification is steadily decreasing spaces for artists in our community to create, congregate, and build with one another. In the spirit of kinship and our mission to create meaningful alternatives, the Community Space Access Program allows groups and individuals to access our space as well as creative and infrastructural resources for free or low cost. We open our doors and lend our talents to help people, projects, and organizations thrive.
