CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER


QUALIFICATIONS

• Master Degree in business

• 10 years plus or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Background in business development and launch

• Work experience in variety of administrative positions,(sales, marketing, finance,
     operations) 

• Leadership experience, including direct management of the team of senior
     level professionals.

BACKGROUND

• Experience build a business from ground up, setting up systems, applications, team

• Non-Profit management background

• Strong connection pool in local city, government, non-profit or for-profit networks

• Competency in strategic planning, fiscal management, and business development
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Strong organizational, management, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Working knowledge of legal strategy and agreements

•Ability to build effective working relationships in a manner consistent with
    the social-emotional mission of the organization

• Working knowledge and experience in across the board, of business management


This is a non-salaried position, contingent on funding or incoming revenue for Alena Museum. In exchange for COO's critical role in launching the company they may later take on a role as co-founder if desired along with financial
compensation.

The COO role can vary depending on our specific needs at Alena Museum, and depending on when one joins the team. We are seeking someone who has experience working with a CEO  in constructing and executing the vision of a company. A person that has experience with early-stage startups and more established businesses
would be the best fit for our role.
